Over the last two years, we have been living through a Global Pandemic and in the hotel industry, we may have all felt at times that we were going backwards as opposed to forwards in our business with the continuous opening and closing of hotels due to Government restrictions.  However, there is one sector that we cannot deny that has been advancing and accelerating and that is technology, and this is influencing and playing a key role in how we do business today!

  1. This is a great read. Big Data also has such a huge impact on the Customer experience that hotel marketers can use the information gathered to create more personalised campaigns. More targeted campaigns will result in more direct business.

Thanks Ailbhe for this blog, It is so true that while hotels were taking steps back during the pandemic technologies kept advancing and it is important for the hospitality industry to recognise this and keep improving online presence and analysing data.
